Mapping Your Journey as a Woman of Color with Cancer - Finding Support and Empowerment

Welcome to the Women of Color Support Group, a dedicated space for women of color who are navigating the challenges of a cancer journey. We understand that being a woman of color with cancer in today's culture can present unique and often increased challenges. We recognize and acknowledge the importance of addressing these specific challenges, and we are here to help.

In this village of support, you will find a community of women who share similar cancer experiences. Here, you can find emotional support, a safe space to relieve stress, and an opportunity to feel joy and understanding. We are committed to providing a space where you can share your journey, connect with others who can relate, and find empowerment in your shared experiences.

Mapping your journey as a woman of color with cancer is not just about navigating the medical aspects, but also addressing the psychosocial stressors that may exacerbate the challenges you face. We understand the importance of having sessions where you can privately discuss issues and concerns that you may not want to share with the group. These individualized sessions provide a safe and confidential space to explore and address the specific challenges you encounter on your cancer journey.

Our networking group meets twice a month from 6-7:30 p.m., offering a consistent space for you to connect, share, and find support. In these gatherings, you have the opportunity to build relationships, express yourself freely, and find solace in the understanding and empathy of fellow women of color.

Join us as we map our journeys together, finding strength, support, and empowerment in our shared experiences as women of color with cancer. We are here to provide the guidance, resources, and understanding you need to navigate the unique challenges you face. You are not alone, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
