Mapping Your Caregiver Journey - Finding Support and Avoiding Burnout

Welcome to the Caregiver Support Group, a safe space for friends, family, and caretakers who are supporting a loved one on their cancer journey. We understand that throughout this challenging and emotionally taxing experience, caregivers often need support and guidance as well. In this group, you can safely share your doubts, fears, challenges, frustrations, and more under the guidance of a licensed facilitator.

Caregiving is a vital role, but it can also be overwhelming and lead to burnout. We understand the importance of staying connected and finding understanding, empathy, and support to avoid caregiver burnout.

Mapping your caregiver journey is essential in finding the support and resources you need to navigate this challenging role effectively. By joining this support group, you will find a community of individuals who understand the unique challenges you face as a caregiver.

Under the guidance of our licensed facilitator, who has experience in supporting caregivers, we create a safe and nurturing environment for open discussions. In this group, you have the opportunity to connect with fellow caregivers, share your experiences, and learn from one another. By sharing your journey and listening to others, you can gain valuable insights, coping strategies, and find solace in knowing that you are not alone on this path.

By participating in this group, you can strengthen your own well-being and gain the tools to provide the best care for your loved one. Our facilitator will provide guidance and resources to help you navigate the challenges, manage stress, and prioritize self-care.
You don't have to navigate this role alone, and we are here to support you every step of the way.

The Caregiver Support Group meets every Wednesday from 6-7:30 p.m.
