Coronavirus & Cancer Support Community Rochester Programming

Mask Policy
We require ALL members and/or visitors to wear a mask when entering our building for pickups, meetings, tours, or programs.

Updated October 29, 2021

In the coming weeks we will be taking steps towards re-opening much like the rest of the community. As many of the people that come through our doors are immunocompromised, we have proceeded with greater caution to protect those we serve.

Beginning next month, you will see that we are beginning to slowly transition programs and support groups to a hybrid and/or in-person format. To best serve the members of our support groups and to ensure we are able to accommodate everyone’s comfort level while not sacrificing their ability to receive support, we hope that our hybrid model will meet this need. Those who would like to attend in-person programs will be able to come to the Clubhouse with proof of vaccination, and those who are not able to, or prefer to remain virtual are able to do so. Be sure to check the monthly calendar as it will indicate what specific program is being held virtually, hybrid or in-person. Your facilitator will also be communicating with your group before any changes occur.

We will continue to monitor the ever-evolving recommendations for our community and may need to adjust our plans as necessary.

Please see our masking policy below for those who will be joining us in the Clubhouse. We have also taken extra precautions including purchasing air purifiers that have been placed throughout the Clubhouse. We ask that when in the Clubhouse, individuals practice social distancing, avoid unnecessary contact, and utilize our alcohol-based hand sanitizer stations throughout the building. Anyone exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days should remain home and if it is elevated (100.4 degrees Fahrenheit) we kindly ask that you return home to ensure everyone remains safe.
